Who Is AirMD?

AirMD is an environmental testing and consulting company specializing in indoor air quality and building assessments. Operations began in 2008 and AirMD services the entire state of Florida, as well as other states nationally. Founder and Scientific Director Mr. Simon Hahessy who has headed operations since AirMD began says “According to the Environmental Protection Agency, indoor air quality is a greater health hazard than outdoor air pollution with pollutants being up to 10 times higher indoors.”

AirMD Consultants test your home or office for mold, asbestos, water intrusion, allergens, lead, bacteria, chemicals and volatile organic compounds. AirMD’s protocols require that all reporting is verified by independent laboratory analysis.

Simon Hahessy

Founder, Scientific Director

Mr. Hahessy is a graduate of the University of Coventry with a major in Environmental Science and certified in Pollution Assessment and Applied Biology. Prior to founding AirMD, over ten years Mr. Hahessy was the Sr. Vice President and Scientific Director of a nationally accredited laboratory in Florida.

Samantha Theaumont

Marketing Director

Ms. Theaumont is the Marketing Director of AirMD. Prior to the establishing the AirMD Affiliate program, Samantha was the President of a successful spa franchise in Scottsdale, AZ. Ms. Theaumont is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a major in Behavioral Science.

Andrew Friedman

Legal

Mr. Friedman has been legal counsel for the Company since inception. Since 1997, Mr. Friedman also has been a partner in the law firm Friedman, Rosenwasser & Goldbaum, P.A. in Boca Raton, Florida. Mr. Friedman has over 20 years of franchise law expertise.

Rachel Rupp

Director, Project Management

Ms. Rupp, Director and Project Manager of AirMD. Rachel attended the University of Central Florida with a major in forensic science and microbiology, and is certified as a CIE, EPA Lead Assessor and is a licensed Asbestos Inspector.

Lisa Talio

Operations Director

Ms. Talio has been Operations Director for AirMD for five years. Previously, she worked in the Environmental Industry as an Operations Manager and is also a qualified IT Consultant.
